Craft, design and cultural-enterprise production

Support a craft or design enterprise through skills, suitable tools, dependable inputs and customers who value the work. Respect the origin and ownership of designs. Prepare both local-market and visitor-market assumptions instead of depending entirely on tourism sales.

Who and what the project needs

Artisans, design enterprises and accountable producer groups. Tools; safe workspace; inputs; packaging; product-quality support; photography and market access.

How repayment or affordability should be tested

Use demonstrated orders and net margin after labour, materials, unsold stock and distribution.

Critical risks

Stereotyped products, copied designs, unpaid consignments and seasonal demand can reduce earnings. Cultural relevance is not proof of buyer demand.

What to prepare

Portfolio; rights and permissions for designs; customer/order evidence; quotes; delivery and payment terms.

What to measure

Paid orders, producer earnings, repeat buyers and stock turnover.
